   How do a person buy a domain name? I mean, what’s the procedure?

   its simple if you have credit card than just go to any webhosting website and register a domain. [eg:godaddy.com]
   or you can go to any webhosting company’s office[eg: Nexsus or comsats] and register a domain name by simply filling a form.
