Saturday, 18 April I attended the seminar on “Web Application Security” arranged by “Innovative Consultants” in Islamabad. I am a Sr. Software Associate at Zigron Inc and my work is related to web applications so I was keen to know the security threats to the web application.

People from Urwasoft [Karachi], Mobilink [Islamabad], Cogilent Solutions [Islamabad] and others were also attending the seminar. The session started bit late [as I expected], but it ended earlier then a scheduled time [this was unexpected]. The presenter was a CEO of Xc0re security Group and did a fantastic job in explaining the web application threats and at the end finish with a brilliant online demonstration[you rarely see one of those in seminar and It was worth watching].  

Although the contents were not new to me but it was a nice experience. Socializing with others and participating the discussion of your topic of interest is my favourite thing to do.  Following were contents of the presentation which were discussed in the seminar
